Parks-Work worked with small project team to update the Management Plan for the Bonaire National Marine Park. The new plan includes nested plans for the two Ramsar site located within the Marine Park namely, Lac and Klein Bonaire. We have gathered and reviewed all available information and organised and facilitated 25 stakeholder meetings. The input and feedback from these meetings was used together with STINAPA’s Conservation Action Plan to develop strategies, activities and actions for the Marine Park management plan. This project included substantial stakeholder involvement of between 100-250 individuals and organisations conducted through a highly interactive consultative process in close co-operation with the park management authority, STINAPA Bonaire, and the Marine Park Manager, Judith Raming.
